My first Five for Friday!

This is the first time that I am linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday! I am so excited!

We finished up Relay for Life this past weekend, and it turned out fabulous! I loved our booth and theme. I got to work with my three friends at school and see my administrators sumo wrestle.
I mean what could be better!

My fabulous Relay for Life team. I love these ladies and I am so grateful to have them in my life :)
My sister's booth had a superhero theme!

My fabulous administrators :)

I ordered the book The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. I haven't read it, but I have heard fabulous things about it, so I am really excited to read it and make some activities to do with my students.

I got this fabulous pack from Schroeder Shenanigans in Second and I instagrammed this picture. I've been planning new blog posts with her pack. You can get it here. :)

My kids planted sunflowers for their moms for an early Mother's Day present! They have been watering them for two weeks and kept calling them their "babies". It was too precious!

This week we worked on insects, and I made this lapbook that will be in my TPT store very soon! SO much fun and the kids LOVED the lapbook!

Thanks to Doodle Bugs Teaching for the super fun link up! I can't wait until next week :)

  1. Yay!! Congratulations on your first Five for Friday!! I am super excited because I just posted my first one ever as well. BTW, we are reading The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane right at this moment, and it has been getting my 4th graders to think deeper than ever before. Great read!!

    1. So fun! I am excited about the deeper thinking, that is exactly what I need! I am headed over to read all about your week :)

  2. Hello from me, too! I'm new to all of this blog stuff as well. Fun to meet another one in the same stage of blogging life. I tried to follow through bloglovin but it didn't seem to work, maybe... it didn't take me anywhere. I'll find another way to follow. I'll go check out Island Miss, too. I teach kindergarten and am at kidpeopleclassroom. My post today on IKEA might have some goodies of interest to upper el. Hope so. See ya!

    1. Thanks Kathleen! I will check out your blog as well :) I was just saying last night that I needed an IKEA trip! SO neat!

  3. I love your pictures!! We are about to do insects so I loved that post :) The Karate Kid booth looks SO MUCH FUN!! Thank you for sharing. :)
